Fixed at $1 = 1,000 credits, purchased by dollar amount. Calls consume by tier: Basic 1 / Standard 2 / Advanced 3 / Heavy 5+ credits, with multipliers for time range, scope, result size, and AI processing.
No. Credits only add consumable volume — they never change plan tier, rate limit, concurrency, history depth, field level, or team seats.
Credits are pre-estimated and frozen before each request, then settled on actual time_factor × scope_factor × result_size_factor — with over-charge refunded. No charge for bad params (400), permission denied (403), insufficient balance (402), or rate limit (429). Empty results (200) cost 0.2×; upstream 5xx or timeout: no charge; partial results charge the successful portion only.
The main record is written by the unified Usage Service; Market Data returns endpoint / mcp_tool / asset_id / instrument_id / venue_id / market_type / timeframe / start_time / end_time / row_count / level_count / data_status. MCP tool calls additionally record tool_name / data_domain=markets / base_credits / time_factor / scope_factor / result_size_factor / actual_credits / result_count / status / latency_ms. Usage records are stored independently and never written into market data tables.
Yes. Credits and rate limits are shared at the workspace level. MCP usage shows two layers in the Dashboard: total per request, expandable into per-Tool detail.
