How to get started
Generate an API key in the My Account (it looks like gd_live_…); every request authenticates via the Authorization: Bearer header. The base URL is https://api.gatedata.ai. Here is your first call — runnable on sample assets without a key:

The same /api/v1/markets/snapshot endpoint serves both crypto and US equities — just pass a stock ticker as query. For historical series, use /api/v1/markets/kline.
